Deploying your unhappiness on others is a pandemic … 😷…. We need to cut that sh*t out … we must find new ways to “deal” instead of going around the world 🌎 trying to make others feel your anger 😡… be the person who stops the cycle 🔃… we can do this, more compassion, more self love, more perspective ❤️♥️..

As usual, I agree with you V, but don’t underestimate the value of having someone to ‘vent’ to. Life is stressful at times and sometimes you just need to talk about it. A therapist or counsellor can be very helpful in this (you don’t need to feel guilty after you 🤢🤮 your emotional distress on them because they are there to help!)Of course there are many other ways to deal with this stuff. That’s just one example.

One bad day can ruin a relationship for life. Those moments of paying out on innocent bystanders cost us dearly.

Agreed. 99.9999999% of people in this world have yet to take care of their own sh*t before trying to deal with other’s. Just try to better yourself each day and give space to those who haven’t.

The trick is to not react emotionally, but to deploy mental strength. The best sources of mental strength are having a learning mindset or having extra financial resources to mitigate/minimize unpleasant consequences.

More understanding. Less fighting over differences.More kindness. Less bullying. Yes it absolutely exists in corporate America. More agreeing to disagree. Less anger and berating others for having different opinions. Believe it or not, there's more than one right opinion out there. More patience. Less lack of consideration. Want to change the world? Start here.

Sometimes it's okay to take a break.Like, when the news around the world is so full of people’s horrific experiences of violence and pain, war and displacement, death and torture.Or when people near and dear to us have difficult health issues beyond our control to care for.😳 Our nervous systems did not evolve to be able to process the world’s pain in our single person bodies.So.Sometimes you MUST take care of yourself. Things you can do:✅ Take a news free couple of days, or even a whole week (while sending support where you can make a difference.)✅ Focus on the beauty around you, whether that is nature, your home, your pets, your loved ones.✅ Read a great escape novel. ✅ Take a nap, take a walk, take some pics, connect with a friend, visit the local animal shelter. And,💯Get clear on your limits of control.Sadly, all the wishes, worries and prayers in the world have not yet led to world peace. 😐So, if you are so inclined, you can pick 1 or 2 real world actions to benefit others and actually take them. 🌻And then get back to taking care of yourself, your work, your life.✅ Don’t get burned out.By taking care of yourself, you will be able to see what other real time actions you can actually take, because you still are whole and functioning. And, know that you are not alone. 💕💎Sometimes it really is okay to take a break.

❤️Cherish moments with people you love; you don’t know when it will be your last time.💡An accident could happen at ANY moment. It feels like we especially take our grandparents for granted the most. Until they pass away. For people with life-threatening diseases, you can at least prepare for their eventual death. But for those completely random accidents? How do you even prepare for that? One day you’re angry at your mom, and the next you get the call, “She’s dead.” Then, your last conversation with her was filled with anger. That’s when it hits you… and it hits you hard.Life will seem completely unfair. “Why me? How could I have done that? If only I could apologize.”But you can’t.🌱Try your absolute hardest to cherish the time you have now.• Focus on controlling what you can.• Tell the people you love that you love them.• Enjoy their company a little bit more next time you’re with them.• Text them when you think of them.• Arrange a small meetup with friends or family.• Let them know how much you appreciate their presence in your life.Be proactive so you’re not inevitably forced to be reactive.Do it all until you can’t anymore.
