Pretty good

It's good but it's a bit hard to turn. Suggest to take the top off and unscrew it for your likings.

Little magic

Honestly if you're planning on getting the Yuxin little magic 7x7 I highly recommend getting the yj 7x7 instead the yuxin little magic doesn't feel as solid ots just not the same quality for the same price

Great value cube

Everything about it is excellent. The turning, the magnets, the colors. It is worth every penny. The only issue would be a small cap on the red side is loose but it is not enough trouble to remove 1 star. Excellent purchase

100% worth it for casual solving!

Note, I am not a speedcuber and like to solve bigger puzzles for fun. As a casual solver, this works near perfectly with 1 or 2 drops of lube added to it after unboxing. The inner layers are incredibly smooth like butter, but somewhat sandy in a good way. The plastic feels nice to grip, and the inner layers are strongly magnetized. I love this personally because it makes solving it a swift breeze when doing algorithms. It may be much for some when doing independent middle slices, but for me I prefer to just have my layers aligned. The corner cutting is very good, even on the middle layers. Having a few layers just a bit out of alignment and this still turns when you want it to without it feeling like a ticking bomb about to explode.

My only issues are that the outmost layers have weak magnet strength. It's very light and hardly noticeable. The puzzle also doesn't handle overcutting very well. It has nearly popped a piece here and there due to my lack of care when trying to be 'fast.' For people with good control this puzzle will never give you issues with stability and never has a looseness to the pieces. A lot of bigger puzzles have the issue. Not this.

Overall, if you are a casual solver like me, I certainly recommend picking this up since it's the best of its price range. You will never have any issues with it and it does the job very satisfyingly with no frustrations at all. Just be sure to buy some lube since it is a bit stiff without it. If you are a speedsolver, obviously pick up a better and pricier 7x7. It will destroy this.

Not Great

While it is impressive that YuXin managed to make a magnetized 7x7 for less than $30, in my opinion, it's just not worth it. It does work, and if you're not sure if you're gonna like larger cubes, I guess it's fine, but I almost immediately bought an MGC (which is only $5 more expensive!) after I got this.

My cube was incredible rigid, so much so that solving it hurt my hands. It's not as bad as an OG Rubik's brand cube, but it's pretty close. I also had the issue described by other reviewers where quite a few of the pieces' faces fell off and I had to do some gluing. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this cube.

Get a YJ

It was smudgy and hard to turn out of the box.
Inconsistent colors. The red and blue faces are lighter and brighter than those on theYuXin Little Magic 6x6 M.
Get the faster, bigger, heavier and lower priced YJ YuFu 7x7 V2 M over this.
Or for just a few more dollars, get the YJ MGC 7x7 which Tingman says is the best magnetic 7x7.
