How do we #RefreshAfrica? By giving local consumers what they want with Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda Did you know? Rwenzori, Uganda’s iconic bottled water brand, was established in 1993, with one production line in Nakawe. By 2003, Rwenzori had expanded to a second plant in Namanve before being acquired by SABMiller in 2010 and forming part of the newly created CCBA in 2014. Today, Rwenzori has six lines, four packs and was the first ISO certified bottled water in Uganda. By volume and market share, it remains the country’s leading bottled water company.#RefreshAfrica #wehavethevision

I have arranged these photos chronologically to explain the process of a Market Systems Development Innovation christened 'Bulk Ordering'. The Innovation organises Business Groups, link them with wholesalers in primary markets, aggregate orders and the wholesalers supply food and non food items to the last Mile villages. In this post, we organised bulk orders in Namorukwaak Village, Turkana North, Engaged a Wholesaler in Kakuma Town to supply. The challenges of bad roads and accessibility increase the price of commodities. This Innovation promotes economies of scale and reduces the cost of transport which in the longrun makes the food and non food items accessible to low income earners. Glad that the Businesses in the last Mile villages have sustained the market Linkages and the Wholesalers are still willing to continue receiving bulk orders.#Marketsystems #bulkorders #business #lastmile

Alhamdulillah, in the Rawalpindi area, we have become the fastest-growing home delivery provider of raw fresh milk; fresh from the farm to your doorstep. Recently, Peer Mehr Ali Shah (PMAS) University invited us to an event, to educate and make consumers aware of the benefits of raw milk, as there is a massive rise in artificial milk in the market (chemicals, powder, and water). We love playing our role in raising awareness, as this is what the market needs.Consumers are mostly being presented with contaminated and artificial milk. The reality is, that consumers do not know what the difference is between real and artificial milk, due to the majority of the shops selling the same poor quality, so they have a misconception. What do consumers look for in their milk? As long as there is "malai", it's real milk. However, this is where the middlemen play with the consumer psych, to plant this in their minds. Do you want "malai", yes, I will give you "malai".The middlemen are extracting the cream, and then adding chemicals or powder to make it look like real milk. The only way you will find out if the milk you are drinking is not contaminated is by checking it at NARC or UVAS labs, to trace chemicals. The questions are:1. How can farmers stop contaminated milk? 2. How can farmers make consumers aware of the difference between real and artificial milk?3. How can farmers get margins for their hard efforts in producing milk? The solution is very simple! Farmers need to enter the market themselves and sell directly to consumers to control manufacturing, supply, and distribution - the entire chain. What happens when consumers are getting real milk? It stops the demand for artificial milk. #rawalpindi #pakistan #dairy #dairyindustry #dairyfarm #dairyfarmers #dairyfarming #freshmilk #rawmilk #milk

Reflecting on an extraordinary year at Sukkur Beverages (SBL), where the challenges of operating in a uniquely intricate landscape in rural Sindh tested my capabilities. Despite the adversity, it was a year of profound self-development, team coaching, and transformative knowledge sharing, culminating in the company securing the highest market share, achieving goals, and celebrating victories amidst occasional setbacks. Grateful for the journey, embracing both triumphs and tribulations. In the heart of rural Sindh's complexity, a year unfolded—challenging, yet enriching. Amid socio-economic constraints, a low literacy rate, and an agrarian economy, Sukkur Beverages thrived. A canvas for self-growth and team empowerment, navigating tough days with resilience led to the pinnacle—regaining the highest market share. Amid disappointments, frustration, and wins, this chapter in SBL has been a symphony of transformation and triumph. #YearInReview #SukkurBeverages #AchievementsAndChallenges
